Acceptable Use Policy
IMPORTANT: Go Viral is an 18+ user-generated-content platform. This policy prohibits illegal, exploitative, pornographic/sexually explicit, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, and manipulative conduct. Users can report content/accounts and block abusive users through supported in-app controls.
1. PURPOSE, SCOPE, AND POLICY STACK
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs conduct on the Go Viral mobile application, website, and related services (the "Platform"). It applies to every Fan, Creator, account operator, and other user of the Platform.
Go Viral is operated by GoViral Inc. under parent Unicorn Technologies (collectively, "Go Viral," "we," "us," or "our"). The exact legal entity name and registered address shown in App Store Connect and the Platform legal center will control if updated before launch.
This AUP operates together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Fan Agreement, Creator Agreement, Community Guidelines, DMCA/Copyright Policy, Payout Policy, and other launch policies. Where this AUP is incorporated into an agreement a user affirmatively accepts, Go Viral may retain the accepted document/version identifier, user/account identifier, timestamp, and related audit metadata. Material policy updates may require renewed acceptance where designated by Go Viral.
Violation may result in content restriction or removal, feature limits, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, transaction review, lawful fund holds or reversals, and referral to appropriate authorities where warranted. Any treatment of Tokens, Creator Earnings, paid entitlements, refunds, or reversals remains subject to the governing agreements, payment-platform rules, and applicable law.
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT
You may not upload, transmit, live stream, message, display, promote, sell access to, or otherwise make available Content that falls into the categories below.
2.1 Child Safety, Sexual Exploitation, and Adult Sexual Content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization or exploitation of minors, grooming, or any sexual content involving a person under 18.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, revenge pornography, voyeuristic sexual content, or sexually exploitative material.
- Pornography, explicit sexual acts, exposed genitalia presented for sexual gratification, or other sexually explicit content prohibited by Go Viral policy.
- Promotion or facilitation of prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking, or sexual services for compensation.
Go Viral is a general 18+ creator platform, not a pornography or adult-services platform. Artistic, fashion, fitness, body-positive, and similar lawful content may be permitted when it does not cross into prohibited sexually explicit content. Apparent CSAM or child exploitation may be preserved and reported to NCMEC and/or law enforcement when required or appropriate under applicable law.
2.2 Illegal, Dangerous, and Harmful Content
- Content that facilitates or solicits unlawful transactions, human trafficking, illegal drug trafficking, prohibited weapons transactions, terrorism, or serious violence.
- Credible threats, instructions intended to facilitate serious criminal harm, or content that materially encourages imminent violence.
- Content that encourages or instructs self-harm, suicide, or dangerous eating-disorder behavior in a manner presenting a material safety risk.
- Malware, ransomware, phishing payloads, credential theft, or other malicious code or schemes.
2.3 Violence, Hate, Harassment, and Privacy Abuse
- Extreme gore, torture, or graphic violence primarily intended to shock, glorify abuse, or encourage violence, subject to limited newsworthy, documentary, or educational context.
- Hateful or discriminatory abuse, threats, or calls for violence against protected groups or individuals.
- Stalking, intimidation, targeted harassment, bullying, blackmail, extortion, brigading, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Doxxing or publishing another person's sensitive private information without authorization or lawful basis.
- Impersonation intended to deceive, defraud, harass, or falsely claim affiliation with another person, Creator, organization, or Go Viral.
2.4 Fraud, Deception, and Manipulated Media
- Fraud, scams, phishing, deceptive fundraising, false payment requests, or material misrepresentations intended to obtain money, Tokens, data, access, or other value.
- Deepfakes, synthetic media, or materially altered media used to impersonate, defraud, harass, or mislead users about a material fact without appropriate disclosure or context.
- False or manipulated content used to create a material risk of financial, physical, or safety harm.
2.5 Intellectual Property and Rights Violations
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, privacy, or other third-party rights.
- Music, video, images, or other media for which the uploader lacks the rights or permission required for Platform use.
- Pirated, unlawfully copied, or unauthorized redistributed content.
Go Viral does not provide an in-app music library in the MVP. Creators are responsible for rights to audio embedded in uploaded video or other media. Copyright notices and counter-notices are governed by the DMCA/Copyright Policy.
3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT AND PLATFORM ABUSE
3.1 Metric, Ranking, and Economic Manipulation
- Use bots, scripts, click farms, device farms, or coordinated artificial activity to inflate views, Fires/Heat, Pulse, follows, tips, purchases, live attendance, or other Platform metrics.
- Token farming, circular or sham transactions, collusive purchases, fake tips, or other activity designed to manufacture Creator Earnings or extract payouts without legitimate user activity.
- Create or coordinate multiple accounts to evade restrictions, suspension, payout review, or Platform rules.
- Manipulate discovery, ranking, engagement, pricing-tier, or Scale of Fame inputs through artificial activity.
3.2 Payment and Monetization Abuse
- Use stolen payment methods, fraudulent identities, unauthorized payment credentials, or knowingly false payment information.
- Initiate a chargeback or payment dispute fraudulently or without a legitimate good-faith basis.
- Launder money, disguise the source or destination of funds, or use Token purchases, tips, unlocks, Live, or payouts for unlawful financial activity.
- Use Go Viral content, profiles, messages, or Live primarily to evade required Go Viral payment hows or Platform commissions for transactions that are intended to occur through Go Viral.
Nothing in this section limits a user from exercising a lawful refund, dispute, consumer, or payment right in good faith.
3.3 Account and Security Abuse
- Sell, lease, transfer, or provide unauthorized control of an account; use another person's account without permission; or evade an account restriction through another account.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
- Introduce malicious code or interfere with Platform infrastructure, APIs, databases, live-stream systems, payment systems, or other users' access.
- Use API keys or developer interfaces outside their authorized scope.
3.4 Unauthorized Capture and Content-Protection Circumvention
- Redistribute, publish, resell, or make unauthorized copies of paid or protected Content.
- Intentionally defeat or tamper with supported watermarking, screen-recording protections, entitlement checks, access controls, or other content-protection measures.
- Use extraction tools, scraping tools, browser extensions, or other methods to obtain Content or data beyond the access granted to your account.
Device operating systems may permit certain capture functions. This policy prohibits unauthorized capture, redistribution, or circumvention; it does not represent that Go Viral can technically prevent every screenshot or recording on every device.
3.5 Scraping, Reverse Engineering, and Data Harvesting
- Scrape, harvest, index, compile, or build unauthorized databases of Users, profiles, Content, messages, or other Platform data.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, probe, or attempt to derive source code, private APIs, security mechanisms, or non-public algorithms except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
4. CREATOR-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 Rights, Authenticity, and Disclosure
- Creators must own or control the rights needed for all uploaded Content and must complete any rights attestation required by the upload how.
- Creators may not materially misrepresent identity, follower counts, engagement metrics, sponsorships, or the origin of Content.
- AI-generated or materially synthetic Content must be disclosed when omission would materially mislead users about authenticity or identity.
4.2 Adults Depicted in Creator Content
Go Viral is 18+. A Creator must not upload sexualized, exploitative, or otherwise restricted Content involving minors. If another identifiable person appears in Content, the Creator is responsible for having the permissions, releases, and rights required by law and Platform policy. Where age verification is required by law or policy for a particular category of Content, the Creator is responsible for maintaining compliant records and providing them when lawfully requested.
4.3 Paid Content, Live, and Messaging
Creators must describe paid Content truthfully and may not use misleading thumbnails, previews, titles, or descriptions to induce Token spending. Go Viral Live, tips, content unlocks, messaging, and Creator Earnings are governed by the locked Platform economics in the Creator Agreement, Master Spec 4.5 implementation, and applicable Payout Policy. Creators may not promise unavailable functionality or misrepresent entitlement delivery.
4.4 Creator Account Operation
A Creator remains responsible for activity performed through the Creator account. Any permitted assistant, agent, or manager must comply with Platform Policies and must not receive access that violates Go Viral security rules or applicable account controls.
5. REPORTING, BLOCKING, MODERATION, AND ENFORCEMENT
5.1 In-App Safety Controls
Go Viral provides or will provide launch-ready controls for users to report Content/accounts and to block or unblock abusive users. Reporting and blocking are separate safety actions. Reports may be submitted from supported post, profile, or message surfaces and are routed for review.
The in-app reporting categories are: Spam, Harassment, Nudity, Violence, Copyright, Fraud, and Impersonation. Reports do not display a public report count.
5.2 Moderation and Response
Go Viral may use automated tools, human review, user reports, transaction signals, and other reasonable methods to identify and address prohibited material or conduct. We may remove or restrict Content, disable monetization, limit functionality, suspend an account, preserve evidence, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or enforcement of Platform Policies.
Serious violations - including CSAM, credible threats, sexual exploitation, trafficking, serious fraud, money laundering, malicious compromise, or evasion of a prior permanent ban - may result in immediate action without a warning or graduated strike sequence.
5.3 Financial Consequences
Enforcement does not automatically forfeit all balances or Creator Earnings. Go Viral may freeze, reverse, offset, retire, or withhold amounts only as permitted by the Terms, Fan Agreement, Creator Agreement, Payout Policy, payment-platform rules, transaction settlement status, fraud/chargeback review, or applicable law. Unspent Fan Tokens may be retired in circumstances defined by the governing Platform agreements, including permanent account deletion, qualifying termination, 12 consecutive months of inactivity, or Platform shutdown.
5.4 Appeals and Support
Where Go Viral offers an appeal for an enforcement action, instructions and applicable deadlines will be provided in the enforcement notice or support channel. An appeal does not prevent Go Viral from maintaining restrictions necessary for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or protection of the Platform while review is pending.
6. COPYRIGHT, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND LEGAL PROCESS
Copyright complaints are handled under the DMCA/Copyright Policy and applicable law. Go Viral may preserve or disclose information when required by valid legal process or when otherwise permitted by law to protect users, prevent fraud, investigate serious violations, or respond to emergencies. Nothing in this AUP creates a promise to disclose information beyond what the Privacy Policy and applicable law permit.
7. POLICY CHANGES, ACCESS, AND VERSIONING
This AUP will be available through the Platform Legal/Compliance Center and may also be linked contextually from posting, reporting, or other relevant surfaces. Go Viral may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law or Platform policy. Where a new version is designated for renewed acceptance, the Platform may require affirmative re-acceptance and retain the applicable acceptance record before access to affected features continues.
