Privacy Policy
1. SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE
This Privacy Policy explains how GoViral Inc., the operating entity of the Go Viral platform, under parent Unicorn Technologies (collectively, “Go Viral,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the Go Viral mobile application, website, and related services (the “Platform”). The exact legal entity name and registered address shown in App Store Connect and the Platform legal center will control if updated before launch.
This Policy operates with the Terms of Service, Fan Agreement, Creator Agreement, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, Payout Policy, and DMCA/Copyright Policy. Where affirmative acceptance is required, Go Viral may record the account identifier, document/version identifier, acceptance timestamp, and related audit metadata. A later material version may require renewed acceptance.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Account and Profile Information
- Name or display name, email address, username, profile photo, biography, and other profile information you choose to provide.
- Age or date-of-birth information used to enforce the Platform's 18+ requirement.
- Account authentication and security information necessary to maintain your session and protect the account.
2.2 Content and Communications
- Photos, videos, captions, comments, messages, live-stream content and related metadata that you submit or transmit through the Platform.
- Reports, blocks, support requests, feedback, and other communications you send to Go Viral.
- Content-access and purchase-entitlement records needed to provide purchased Content and maintain your Vault/Purchases experience.
2.3 Purchases, Tokens, and Creator Earnings
- Apple in-app purchase transaction and receipt/entitlement information used to validate Token Packs and Creator subscriptions, including information received through RevenueCat.
- Internal Token ledger events, including Token Pack credits, unlocks, tips, messaging charges, Live charges, reversals, and account-level balances.
- Creator earnings, payout eligibility, payout status, reserve/reversal records, and transaction history needed to operate Money Monday and related financial controls.
2.4 Creator Verification and Payout Status
- Creator onboarding uses Stripe Connect Express for identity, tax, bank, and payout verification.
- Go Viral does not intend to store your bank account number, Social Security number, government-ID image, biometric verification image, or identity-document scans in the Go Viral application database. Stripe handles the hosted verification process. Go Viral stores only the minimum status and identifiers needed to orchestrate Creator payout eligibility, such as a Stripe connected-account identifier and payout-enabled/verification state.
2.5 Device, Log, and Usage Information
- IP address and general location derived from IP address; device type, operating system, app version/build, language, network information, timestamps, crash/performance logs, and security events.
- Feature usage and engagement information such as posts viewed, dwell time, replay behavior, follows, searches, profile visits, unlocks, tips, messaging activity, and Live participation.
- Signals used to operate discovery, engagement, fraud-prevention, ranking, and the Scale of Fame system. Scale of Fame pricing is determined by the Platform's locked tier rules and is not individualized pricing based on a person's private profile.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain accounts and sessions.
- Deliver Content, purchases, Vault/Purchases access, messaging, Go Viral Live, tipping, notifications, and customer support.
- Validate Apple in-app purchases and Creator subscriptions, maintain Token ledgers, calculate Creator earnings, and coordinate Stripe Connect payouts.
- Personalize and rank content, measure engagement, operate Scale of Fame and other product metrics, and improve Platform reliability.
- Detect fraud, abuse, account compromise, prohibited conduct, copyright issues, payment disputes, and other safety or integrity risks.
- Enforce Platform Policies, process reports and blocking controls, respond to lawful requests, and satisfy tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations.
- Send transactional communications and, where permitted, product or marketing communications that you may opt out of.
4. APPLE PERMISSIONS, TRACKING, AND DATA MINIMIZATION
Go Viral requests device permissions only when needed for a feature, and the app must respect the permission choices you make in iOS. Permission denial may limit the related feature but should not be used to force consent to unrelated data collection.
Go Viral does not use Apple's advertising identifier or link your activity across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising or measurement unless the required Apple App Tracking Transparency permission has first been obtained and the practice is accurately disclosed. If Go Viral does not engage in such tracking, no ATT permission is required.
The categories of data described in this Policy must be kept consistent with the disclosures published in App Store Connect and with the actual behavior of the app and its third-party SDKs.
5. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
5.1 Service Providers
We may disclose information to vendors that provide services on our behalf, including Apple for in-app purchases, RevenueCat for purchase/subscription entitlement infrastructure, Stripe for Creator onboarding and payouts, and hosting, database, storage, streaming/CDN, security, analytics, crash-reporting, email, and notification providers. Providers are permitted to use information only as necessary to provide their services or as otherwise allowed by law and their applicable agreements.
5.2 Other Users
Information you intentionally make public, such as a username, display name, profile, posts, comments, Creator profile, or public engagement information, may be visible to other Platform users. Private financial information and nonpublic personal data are not made available to Creators or Fans merely because they transact with one another.
5.3 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforceable governmental requests, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce Platform Policies, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets subject to applicable privacy obligations.
5.4 No Sale of Personal Information
Go Viral does not sell personal information for money. Go Viral does not disclose personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising unless the practice is separately disclosed and any legally required opt-out or consent mechanism is provided.
6. DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Platform, maintaining transaction integrity, satisfying legal/tax/accounting obligations, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and protecting users.
- Account and active-service data is generally retained while the account remains active and for a limited period needed to complete deletion and security processes.
- Financial, tax, payout, purchase, fraud, and dispute records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights.
- Backups may persist temporarily according to backup-retention cycles and are not used as active account records after deletion.
- Aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics, security, and product improvement.
In-app account deletion. Users can initiate permanent account deletion from within the app. The deletion process removes the account and associated personal data and user-generated content from active Platform systems, subject to information we are legally permitted or required to retain. Unspent Tokens are retired in accordance with the Terms and Fan Agreement. Creator earnings and payment records remain subject to the Creator Agreement, Payout Policy, applicable law, and settlement requirements.
If permanent deletion of a Creator account requires removal of Content that a Fan previously purchased, Go Viral will handle the affected entitlement under the applicable Fan Agreement remediation, refund-support, replacement-entitlement, or other legally required process. Creator subscription cancellation, monetization suspension, or deletion of an individual post is distinct from permanent account deletion and is governed by the applicable Platform agreements.
7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES
- Access: request information about the personal information we maintain about you.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion: initiate account deletion in the app and, where applicable, request deletion of personal information subject to lawful retention exceptions.
- Portability: request a portable copy of eligible information where required by law.
- Marketing choices: unsubscribe from promotional email or adjust available notification preferences.

8. SECURITY
Go Viral uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, credential protections, secure transmission practices, logging, monitoring, and incident-response procedures appropriate to the nature of the information and Platform. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. CHILDREN AND AGE RESTRICTION
Go Viral is an 18+ Platform and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly permit minors to maintain accounts. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or delete the account and take appropriate steps to delete information consistent with applicable law and required payment/remediation obligations. Contact Hello@unicorntechventures.com if you believe a minor has provided personal information to Go Viral.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Go Viral is based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguard for international transfers, Go Viral will use an appropriate lawful mechanism.
11. WEBSITE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
The Go Viral website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and basic performance/analytics. Where consent is legally required for non-essential cookies, the website will request it before using those technologies. Cookie practices must remain consistent with the actual website implementation and any cookie banner or preference control.
12. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act or another applicable U.S. state privacy law, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, or limit certain uses of personal information, and to opt out of sale or certain sharing where applicable. Go Viral does not sell personal information for money. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Requests may be submitted to Hello@unicorntechventures.com. We may verify your identity and, where allowed, require an authorized agent to provide proof of authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
13. EEA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss data-protection law applies, Go Viral processes personal information under one or more lawful bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where consent is required. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority.
Go Viral may use automated processing to rank or recommend content and to operate engagement and fraud-prevention systems. The Scale of Fame pricing system follows Platform-defined engagement tiers; it is not individualized pricing based on sensitive personal characteristics. Where applicable law grants rights concerning solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, Go Viral will honor those rights as required.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY AND VERSIONING
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Platform, law, vendors, or data practices. The current version will be made available through the Platform legal center and website. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Where the Platform designates a revised policy version as requiring renewed affirmative acceptance, the app may require re-acceptance and record the applicable version and timestamp.
