Community Guidelines
Welcome to Go Viral. These Community Guidelines explain the conduct and content standards that apply to Fans and Creators. They work together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Fan Agreement, Creator Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy, and DMCA / Copyright Policy. If these Guidelines conflict with a controlling legal agreement or applicable law, the controlling agreement or law governs.
THE SHORT VERSION
- 18+ only. Every Go Viral user must be at least 18 years old.
- Be authentic. Use real engagement and do not impersonate or manipulate.
- Respect people. No harassment, hate, exploitation, threats, or abuse.
- Respect rights. Upload only content you own or are authorized to use.
- Respect the economy. Do not manipulate Tokens, transactions, payouts, or Platform pricing.
- Use Report and Block when something is wrong. Go Viral reviews reports and may act against violating content or accounts.
1. AGE, IDENTITY, AND CONSENT
- You must be 18 or older to create or use a Go Viral account.
- Creators may not upload content depicting a person under 18. Every person depicted in Creator content must be an adult and must have consented to the recording and distribution of their likeness.
- Do not impersonate another user, public figure, company, Creator, or Go Viral representative in a misleading or harmful manner.
- Do not create or use additional accounts to evade suspensions, bans, economic limits, verification requirements, or other Platform controls.
2. CONTENT STANDARDS
Go Viral is a general creator platform. Creative, artistic, fashion, fitness, lifestyle, and body-positive content may be permitted, but the following is prohibited:
- Sexually explicit content, explicit sexual acts, exposed genitalia presented sexually, sexual violence, sexual exploitation, or content sexualizing minors.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or suspected exploitation of minors. Go Viral will take required protective and reporting actions under applicable law.
- Trafficking, prostitution or escort-service promotion, illegal drug trafficking, unlawful weapons sales, or instructions intended to facilitate serious criminal conduct.
- Graphic gore, torture, or extreme violence presented primarily to shock, glorify, or encourage harm.
- Content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, or violence against people based on protected characteristics.
- Threats, stalking, doxxing, extortion, blackmail, coordinated harassment, or bullying.
- Fraud, phishing, scams, deceptive previews, or other conduct designed to trick users into spending Tokens or revealing sensitive information.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual-property rights.
3. AI-ASSISTED AND SYNTHETIC CONTENT
AI tools may be used to assist in creation, but users may not use synthetic media, deepfakes, cloned likenesses, or other AI-generated material to impersonate, defraud, harass, exploit, or materially deceive another person. Where synthetic or materially altered content could reasonably mislead viewers about whether a real person said, did, or appeared in something, it must be clearly disclosed.
4. CREATOR RIGHTS AND UPLOAD RESPONSIBILITY
- Every Creator upload requires the Platform's rights-confirmation control. Publication is blocked unless the Creator confirms the necessary rights to the audio, visuals, likenesses, text, and other included material.
- The rights attestation is recorded with the Creator/account reference, timestamp, IP address, and applicable audit metadata.
- Go Viral does not automatically register uploaded works with the U.S. Copyright Office.
- Go Viral does not provide an in-app music catalog or licensing library. Creators must prepare and properly license any audio before upload.
- Creators remain responsible for the accuracy of titles, previews, descriptions, and representations made about paid content or scheduled Go Viral Live sessions.
5. CONTENT PROTECTION - NO LEAKS OR CIRCUMVENTION
Purchased or protected content is licensed for authorized viewing through Go Viral. Users may not:
- Redistribute, repost, publicly display, sell, or share purchased or protected content outside the permissions granted through the Platform.
- Use third-party tools or technical workarounds to extract, download, intercept, or copy protected media.
- Circumvent watermarking, access controls, blackout/dimming, screenshot or screen-record protections, authentication controls, or other security measures.
- Remove or obscure a Platform watermark or identifier from protected content.
Where supported by the operating system and implementation, Go Viral may detect screenshot or screen-record activity and may dim or black out protected content and issue warnings. Repeated attempts may result in suspension or other review. Purchased protected content may carry a watermark associated with the viewing Fan's stable internal wallet identifier.
6. ENGAGEMENT INTEGRITY
Go Viral's discovery, Scale of Fame, Creator metrics, and monetization systems depend on genuine activity. Do not:
- Use bots, scripts, click farms, automated accounts, or coordinated fake engagement to inflate Fires, views, follows, tips, or other activity.
- Engage in Token farming, wash spending, circular tipping, collusive transactions, or fake purchases intended to manipulate Creator earnings or Platform economics.
- Coordinate deceptive activity intended to game discovery rankings, Pulse signals, pricing tiers, or engagement measurements.
- Exploit bugs, race conditions, duplicate transactions, or other technical defects for financial or engagement advantage.
Suspicious activity may be flagged for review. Earnings or transactions may be held, reversed, adjusted, or denied only where supported by the applicable agreements, ledger evidence, fraud review, payment reversal, failed-delivery remediation, or law.
7. PAYMENTS AND PLATFORM ECONOMICS
- Digital purchases and monetization occurring inside the iOS app must use the payment and Token systems provided by Go Viral and Apple where required.
- Do not use content, profiles, messages, or Go Viral Live to route users to external payment methods for the purpose of avoiding required Platform or App Store purchase flows.
- Do not use stolen payment methods, fabricated identities, collusive transactions, fraudulent refunds, or bad-faith chargebacks.
- Fans should use legitimate Apple refund or support channels when a purchase is unauthorized, defective, or otherwise eligible for remediation. Good-faith disputes are not prohibited.
- Creators may not manipulate transactions to create artificial Creator payout liability.
8. PAID CONTENT AND CREATOR DELIVERY
When a Creator offers paid content, a paid Go Viral Live experience, or another supported paid entitlement, the Creator must deliver what the Platform represents the Fan is purchasing. Failed delivery, fraud, or material misrepresentation may lead to entitlement remediation, transaction adjustment, removal, suspension, or other action under the Platform Policies. Legitimately earned Creator balances are not automatically forfeited merely because an account is disciplined.
9. REPORTING, BLOCKING, AND USER SAFETY
Every supported post/profile safety surface must provide a way to report violating content or conduct. The Platform's locked report categories are:
- Spam
- Harassment
- Nudity
- Violence
- Copyright
- Fraud
- Impersonation
Users must also have access to a functional account-level Block User / Unblock User path so they can stop further direct interaction with abusive accounts. Reports enter Go Viral's moderation/review process and are not displayed publicly.
For copyright claims seeking the statutory DMCA process, use Hello@unicorntechventures.com or the public DMCA policy at goviral.fans/dmca. General safety reports may also be submitted to Hello@unicorntechventures.com.
10. ENFORCEMENT
Go Viral may remove or restrict content, issue warnings, limit features, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, restrict monetization, preserve evidence, or take other proportionate action when Platform Policies are violated. Enforcement is based on the nature, severity, frequency, context, and evidence surrounding the violation.
Serious violations may result in immediate action without a prior warning, including CSAM or sexual exploitation of minors, credible threats or violent incitement, trafficking, serious fraud, money laundering, deliberate platform-security circumvention, or repeated/evasive misconduct.
Where applicable law requires reporting to law enforcement, NCMEC, regulators, payment providers, or other authorities, Go Viral will comply with those obligations. Go Viral does not promise that every policy violation will automatically be reported externally.
11. APPEALS
Where an appeal is available, users may submit it through the designated support or in-app process identified in the enforcement notice. Go Viral may request additional information and will review appeals in good faith. Emergency safety measures, legally required removals, or actions governed by third-party payment/App Store rules may remain in effect while a review is pending.
12. THE SPIRIT OF GO VIRAL
Go Viral is built around a simple idea: authentic attention should create real opportunity for Creators while Fans receive a safe, trustworthy, and transparent experience. These Guidelines protect that system.
Create boldly. Engage honestly. Respect the community. Protect the value.
